Good morning everyone.

First of all, I would like to thank you for the opportunity to be here in this group. I attended the Pan-African Workshop on the G20 in November in Sandton, Johannesburg, and it was an excellent exchange between entrepreneurs from various countries.

I would like to present my work and inform you that we intend to expand our investment to South Africa. I would like to ask how we can collaborate, establish partnerships, and obtain funding for our projects in Mozambique and South Africa?

My name is Lucília de Fátima, and I am the owner of SENGA CONSULTORIA E SERVIÇOS. SENGA Consultoria e Serviços is a for-profit company based in Mozambique that also provides services to some clients in South Africa. It has been operating for a year in the business and humanitarian consulting sector, specializing in Digital Education services and the promotion of Digital Literacy.

SENGA Consultoria offers several free and paid ONLINE/DIGITAL courses related to entrepreneurship and social service for women and young people/adolescents. The courses are available through the digital platforms SENGA EAD Platform, Zoom, Google Meet, Streamyard, Microsoft Teams, Webex Meet, Facebook, YouTube, and WhatsApp.

SENGA has a project called “INOVA EXPO DIGITAL,” an initiative aimed at strengthening businesses led by women and young people nationally and internationally, facilitating access to networks, incubation programs, markets, financial products/services, and training. It is an innovative event that brings together the general public for the exhibition, sale, and purchase of transformative products, services, and ideas on a digital platform.

This fair will be a privileged space to highlight initiatives led by small and medium-sized enterprises in Mozambique and other countries, promoting not only their ventures but also their contributions to social and economic impact in the communities where they operate. The initiative offers an opportunity to foster strategic partnerships with investors/donors, expand networks, and inspire other women and young people to dream, create, and lead.

In addition to giving visibility to initiatives by women and young people in Mozambique and the diaspora, the Virtual Exhibition Fair reinforces, on the one hand, its role in promoting impactful projects and consolidating an ecosystem of mutual support. My work is now more focused on Digital Education and Business and Humanitarian Consulting.

I am a partner of Hub Link Mozambique, an incubator for SMEs and startups.

Hub Link Mozambique (Hub Link), founded in 2017, is a business incubator and accelerator located at the Beira Commercial Association in the city of Beira, Mozambique, and intends to expand this initiative to South Africa by 2026. The organization specializes in supporting local and international entrepreneurs in technical and strategic aspects, offering a structured roadmap of capacity building, incubation, acceleration, and business mentoring for sustainable development and business growth. Hub Link focuses on key areas such as Digital Skills and Education (EdTech), Financial Inclusion (FinTech), innovation, digitalization, circular economy, green economy, traditional economy, and creative economy, promoting growth, the formalization of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), as well as the expansion and strengthening of digital literacy and skills.

Digital transformation is not just about technology; it's about people, opportunities, and equity. Therefore, Hub Link Mozambique aims to strengthen its work at the national and international levels and benefit from opportunities/funding that can support the incubation and acceleration of more SMEs and startups in Mozambique and South Africa. This includes collaboration in expanding internet access in rural and low-income communities, supporting local connectivity initiatives, expanding access to connected mobile devices to enable the full use of digital platforms in education, employment, health, commerce and public services, ensuring universal basic digital literacy, prioritizing digital education, inclusive training programs and learning resources, and synchronizing higher education with industry demands to prepare the workforce for digital and AI-powered jobs.

In addition to incubation and acceleration programs, Hub Link offers a business support infrastructure that includes shared workspaces (coworking spaces) and virtual office services, providing meeting rooms, internet access, reception services, administrative and secretarial support, creating an environment conducive to growth and networking among entrepreneurs.
